In advance of the Conserve the Light Gathering, a two day celebration took place on top of Mount McKay in our host community, Fort William First Nation.  The event brought First Nation and Métis Elders from across Ontario together to consider and action on an agenda for Energy Conservation in First Nation and Métis Communities Province wide. The two day celebration included ceremonies where our Elders were able to provide their advice and guidance. 

The recommendations garnered from these ceremonies will be brought forward and presented to First Nation and Métis Leadership attending the two day Conserve the Light Gathering.  All Provincial Territorial Organizations will be represented.
