The Conserve the Light Conference was a Great Success! An important Gathering of Ontario Aboriginal Elders and Leadership to help preserve Mother Earth through energy conservation took place in Thunder Bay, Ontario Sept. 3 - 4, 2009. The Gathering hosted two days of ceremonies, followed by a two day conference where discussions focused on successes, challenges and opportunities facing Ontario’s Aboriginal communities in terms of energy conservation.
