in First Nation governance, health,
education, and energy sectors. This company is implementing
the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Measures for Aboriginal
Communities program to all First Nations communities in Ontario. |
Core
Committee
The
Core Committee consists of a working group from the Network of
Champions and the Elders Council. This Core Committee has worked
diligently on this project and has met at least once a month
since it began. They have contributed to every aspect of the
program.

Network of Champions
The Network of Champions assist
and provide guidance and expertise in development, delivery,
education materials, and information packages in the energy conservation
program. They will also participate in the development of the
Education Awareness program which includes delivery, training,
orientation, and implementation.

The
Elders Council
The Elders Council ensures there
are traditional tools and values available at each session and
participants can learn from their wisdom and teachings. They
provide guidance on what is needed, what materials will be produced,
and ensure that traditional teachings are a core of the energy
conservation program.
